Ağlasun
Aglasun is a district of Burdur province.
The settlement in the district dates back to ancient times. There is the ancient city of Sagalassos 7 km northwest of the district center. It joined the territory of Hamitoğulları Principality during the period of Dündar Bey. In 1472, it joined the Ottoman lands. In 1500-1501 Ottoman records, Ağlasun was mentioned as a district consisting of 9 villages and a Yoruk community. In 1910 records, it was one of the three districts of Burdur. On August 7, 1951, the name of "Belönü" sub-district of Burdur central accident was changed to "Ağlasun", which is also the name of the sub-district center.[4] Ağlasun became a district in 1958.
