Avcılar
Avcılar district was established on May 27, 1992. It is surrounded by Küçükçekmece Lake and Küçükçekmece district in the east of the district, Başakşehir district in the north, Esenyurt and Beylikdüzü districts in the west, and the Marmara Sea in the south. It is 27 km away from the city center. TEM highway passes through the Karayolu district borders. With the development of industrial facilities in Avcılar, fishing, viticulture and agriculture became history, and they were replaced by industry, trade and recreation (entertainment) facilities. More than 250 industrial facilities, large and small, are operating in Avcılar, especially in metal goods, textiles and clothing. Accordingly, more than 40% of the population consists of workers, 10% consists of local tradesmen and small-scale civil servants.
