Babadağ
Babadağ is a district of Denizli Province. The district is one of the districts of Turkey that makes a living with textiles. Since agricultural areas are scarce, people have turned to textile production. Chestnuts, meat kapama, meat flipping and keskek are among the local dishes.
It was founded near the ancient city of Attuda. Attuda (Hisarköy) is thought to be a Lydian city. Currently the city is recognized as a protected area. The ancient city of Trapezopolis was founded in Boludüzü, northeast of Bekirler village. The ancient city of Trapezopolis was part of the Roman province of Phrygia [Phrygia] Pacatiana Prima in the late period.
