Borçka
Borcka; It is a town and the center of the Artvin province in the Black Sea Region of the Republic of Turkey. Its old name is Porçha. It is mentioned as Borcha in Ottoman records. It later took the form of Borcka. It is located in the Nigali Valley, on the banks of the Çoruh River. The road from Batumi to Kars and Erzurum passed through Borcka. On the other hand, the settlement was also one of the piers for boat transportation in Çoruh.
