Bozkurt (Denizli)
Bozkurt is a district located in the east of Denizli province. Its distance to Denizli is 52 kilometers.
It borders with Çardak district of Denizli province in the east, Honaz district in the west, Acıpayam district in the south, Baklan and Çal districts in the north, and Dazkırı district of Afyon province in the northeast. Its height from the sea is 866.8 meters.
A large part of its territory is in the Hambat Plain. Its surface area is 360 km². The district has a transition climate between the Mediterranean and the Inner Aegean climate. In general, summers are hot and dry, winters are cold and rainy.
Most of the people of Bozkurt are engaged in agriculture. With the concrete steps taken in the irrigation works, irrigated agriculture has been started and diversity and abundance in terms of products have been gained. Bozkurt and its villages Cumalı and Tutluca have more irrigated agriculture than the center. Barley, wheat, cumin, aniseed, beans, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, corn and tobacco are the main agricultural products. Viticulture, animal husbandry and trout farming are also practiced.
