Buldan
Buldan is a district of Denizli province. According to 2020 TURKSTAT data, its population is 27,223. It is a famous district in all of Turkey for weaving (textile). Buldan cloth, which is unique to the district, is a world-famous type of weaving.
Yayla (Süleymanlı) Lake and Kestane Stream are among the important natural beauties of the district. Within the borders of the district, there is the ancient city of Tripolis in Yenicekent neighborhood. In the village of Derbent, there is the Derbent Dam used for irrigation purposes. The district is built on a mountain slope and surrounded by mountains on 3 sides. The highest point of the district is Geleyli Hill with 1151 m.
It is 42 km away from Denizli Center. It is 18 km to the nearest railway. Denizli-Manisa highway passes through the district. Its neighbors are Manisa-Sarıgöl, Aydın-Buharkent, Denizli-Akköy, Denizli-Sarayköy districts.
