Things to do in Çankırı;
First day
You can start the first day with a rich breakfast consisting of local products of Çankırı cuisine. After breakfast, it would be a good choice to go to Salt Cave, one of the most interesting places in Çankırı. Here you can see sculptures made of salt and replicas of the Orkhon Monuments, made to measure. After the Salt Cave, you can visit Taş Mescit, Çankırı Castle and Emir Karatekin Tomb, Çankırı Museum, Historical Laundry, and then try yaren stew, one of the local delicacies, at a restaurant in the center for lunch.
After having a rest after dinner, you can continue your tour with Sultan Süleyman Mosque, Çivitçioğlu Madrasa, Buğdaypazarı Madrasa, and then go to Old Çankırı Evleri Street to take a walk and see the historical houses of the city, and from there you can visit Çankırı Research Center and Radio Museum. You can complete your day with a Wound Show.
The second day
You can start the second day by walking on Istiklal Road, which is a historical road. To spend time with nature, you can stop by Kadınçayırı - Yıldıztepe Tourism Center, go to Ilgaz Doruk Ski Center, and then go to Kırkpınar Plateau. From here, you can see Bayramören Wooden Bridge and relax a little in the healing waters of Çavundur thermal facilities.
On the way back, after seeing the Soldier Fish in Ilıpınar Village of Atkaracalar district, you can stop by Orta Sakaeli Village Rock Tombs and Fairy Chimneys, Hüyük Village Underground City and return to the center and finish the day with a nice dinner.
