First day

You should start your first day in Edirne by discovering the most beautiful examples of Ottoman architecture in the region. You should watch Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling just in time. It holds the Guinness Book of Records title for the longest consecutive sporting event in the world. The festival was included in UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010. This festival is a highly recommended celebration of a truly unique tradition.
