Gemlik
Gemlik is a district of Bursa, located on the coast of the Marmara Sea.
Gemlik is surrounded on three sides by partially aged single and mountain ranges, and only the west is open towards the Marmara Sea. Karsak Stream coming from Lake Iznik divides Gemlik into two. The westward extensions of the Samanlı Mountains to the north and the Katırlı Mountains to the south have turned Gemlik Bay into a closed basin. Some of the branches leaving the Samanlı Mountains descend steeply to the coast, forming pointed headlands. The population of the city is 115,404 according to the 2020 census.
