Güney

Güney is a district of Denizli Province.

It is famous for Adıgüzeller Dam, Cindere Dam and Güney Waterfall. The grapes of the vineyards in Güney are of great interest among wine producers. However, the grapes grown by winegrowers cannot be economically utilized sufficiently.[citation needed] The district has emigrated excessively and continues to do so.[citation needed] In addition, the only factory of Pamukkale Wines is in Güney. Wine producers such as Kavaklıdere, Doluca, Sevilen, Diren, Mey, Vinkara carry out viticulture activities in this region.

Güney district is located 75 km from Denizli and 75 km from Uşak. The borders of Güney district continue until the provincial border of Uşak.
