First day
You can start the day early, explore the Cilo Sat Mountains National Park, where you can travel freely, climb and camp, and the Glaciers, dozens of glacial lakes above 3000 meters, which are waiting to be discovered, Reşko Peak, Mergan Plateau, Historical Churches, Heaven and Hell valleys. Afterwards, you can go to the Gevarok Valley in Yüksekova to see the Rock Paintings, which are estimated to be 5000 years old and still preserve their mystery today.
After completing the walk here, you can visit Şemdinli and its surroundings, listen to the peaceful sound of Şemdinli Stream and relax a little. You should not leave the district without seeing the Stone Bridge, which is located on the Semdinli Stream and was built in 1898.
The second day
On the second day of your Hakkari visit, if your trip coincides with the winter season, we recommend you to stop by the Mergabütan Ski Center. Afterwards, you can go to Koçanis Church in Konak village and pass to Berçelan Plateau and enjoy the unique nature among the flowers and herbs that grow in the region. Afterwards, you can visit the Zap Valley accompanied by Zap Water, and visit the Historical Stone Houses and mills, Emir Şaban Mosque and Sidan Aqueduct in Çukurca district. Afterwards, you can return to the city center and end your day by visiting the Hakkari Meydan Madrasa, which is the symbol of the city and one of the most popular places, and the Çölemerik Castle.
