İhsaniye
İhsaniye is a district of Afyonkarahisar Province. History of İhsaniye District goes back to the Phrygian era. Döğer, Ayazini and Kayıhan settlements, places of worship called Kapıkayalar, Aslantaş, Maltaş and Yılantaş, and historical remains thought to be tombs belong to the Phrygian period. Although the region was dominated by the Persians, Hellenes, Romans and Byzantines, no traces or traces of these civilizations survived until today. It is thought that as a result of the opening of Anatolia to the settlement of the Turks after the 1071 Malazgirt victory, some Turkish tribesmen settled in this region. It is estimated that the Döğer and Alanlı regions were inhabited by the Oghuz Turks in 1085. It was established as a village in 1888 with the settlement of immigrants from Şahinler village of Pazarcık District of Silistra, Bulgaria during the Ottoman-Russian War of 1877-1878. After the resettlement of the people who came as immigrants to this region, it was named Belcemeşe instead of the resettlement, and later on, after the railway line passed, it was renamed İhsaniye, which was given to the station established in this region.
