Karakeçili
Karakeçili is a district of Kırıkkale province in Turkey.
The Karakeçili tribe, one of the largest tribes of the Kayı tribe, one of the 24 branches of the Oghuz, the Karakeçili tribe, under the leadership of Ertuğrul Gazi, got up from Central Asia and crossed the Euphrates from the Karacadağ foothills of Gaziantep, the Karakeçili people moved westwards and northwards to the Aegean, Central Anatolia, Bilecik Söğüt in Western Anatolia, and then settled in the 15th century. century, some of them left Söğüt and some of them established the village of Karakeçili where Karakeçili is located today.
In 1957, it became a municipality. While it was the district of Balâ in Ankara province, it became a district with the law dated 25 May 1990 and numbered 3587 and was connected to Kırıkkale, which became a province with the same law.
