Kavaklıdere
Kavaklıdere is located in the north of Muğla province and borders Aydın province. Located 850 m above sea level, the district is 52 km away from Muğla city center. 70% of it is covered with forests. Kavaklıdere, which was a township during the Ottoman Empire, became a district in 1990. There are 14 neighborhoods in the district. The main source of income of the people is forestry, agriculture, animal husbandry, marble, carpet and handicrafts, coppersmithing, tinsmithing and carpentry.
