Keles

Keles is a district of Bursa province, 61 km from the city center. It is surrounded by İnegöl district to the east and northeast, Domaniç and Tavşanlı districts of Kütahya to the southeast, the central district to the north, and Orhaneli district to the west. The area of the district is 640 square kilometers and the altitude is around 1,050 meters.

It was established in the valley of Keles Stream. Keles Stream is a tributary of Kocasu Stream, which splits the plateau between Uludağ-Eğriöz Mountains. It is connected to Bursa from the west through Hüseyin Alanı Pass and to İnegöl from the east through Tepel Pass.
