Köprübaşı
It is located between Sürmene, Araklı, Çaykara and Dernekpazarı districts. In 1998, there was a flood in the Beşköy town of Köprübaşı and 47 citizens lost their lives. The town center became Garbigöneşera. Later, Köprübaşı Town was established in 1965 by merging Fidanlı, Akpınar and Gündoğan Neighborhoods. It was established as a new district by separating from Sürmene District on May 5, 1990, with law no. 3644; The first District Governor took office on 12 August 1991.
