Kozan
It is a district of Adana province. It was established in the part of the Adana plain called the Upper Plain, where the flat land passes into the rough area, and its distance from the city center is 73 km. The district, located in the north of Kayseri, includes Yahyalı, Feke, Saimbeyli; Osmaniye, Kadirli in the east; Ceyhan, İmamoğlu in the south; It is surrounded by Aladağ districts in the west. The area of the district is 1690 km². It is one of the two big districts of Adana (excluding the metropolises). It is also the largest (in terms of surface area) district within the provincial borders of Adana. Kozan, an important settlement throughout history, became the capital of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia and became a province (province status) until 1926 in the Ottoman and Republican periods. However, the province was abolished in 1926 due to some deputies. He also sent Fevzi Çakmak to the Turkish Grand National Assembly as a deputy when he was a province.
