Kozlu
Kozlu is a district of Zonguldak province of Turkey. It became a district as a result of the law no. 6360 adopted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 12 November 2012.[1] The total population of the district, which has coal deposits, is 46,661 people according to the 2020 census. All neighborhoods of the district, whose center is located at sea level, are located in mountainous areas. The preparatory classes of Bülent Ecevit University are located in this district as İncirharmanı Campus. Kozlu, which was once a mining town with a population of around 60,000, is experiencing rapid emigration after the downsizing of the Turkish Hard Coal Corporation. Kozlu district is 5 km away from Zonguldak city center.
