Mut
Mut is a district of Mersin province in the Mediterranean Region. It was established on the foothills of the Taurus Mountains, on the banks of the Göksu River. It is surrounded by Silifke to the east, Ermenek to the west, Karaman to the north and Gülnar to the south.
The total area of the district is 2860 km². There are Kozlar and Sertavul plateaus, Çınaraltı and Karaekşi National Parks, as well as the Alahan Monastery, which has been nominated for the UNESCO World Heritage List.
