Ömerli
Ömerli is a district of Mardin province.
Until 1953, Ömerli was a village and a parish, respectively, connected to Savur district under the name Maserti. According to the records, it is known that it was also a parish in the first years of the Republic. In 1953, its parish status was terminated and it was made a district and connected to Mardin province.
In the district center there is Mor Cercis Church from the Assyrians, the church has been restored and opened for worship.
It is 26 km from the center of Mardin.
The district is famous for its grapes grown without water and a vintage festival is organized.
