Orhangazi
Orhangazi is a district of Bursa located in the south of the Marmara Sea, west of Lake Iznik.
Orhangazi was established on a very fertile plain on the shore of Lake Iznik. There are the districts of Yalova and Karamürsel in the north, Gemlik in the west, Yenişehir in the south and İznik in the east. It is surrounded by the Samanlı Mountains to the north and the Katırlı Mountains to the south, in the shape of a bowl. Its old name is Pazarköy.
It is 45 km away from Bursa city center. Its height from the sea is 125 meters. Orhangazi is an important junction point on the Bursa-Istanbul Road. According to 2020 population information, the total population of the district is 80,118 people. In addition, Orhangazi has become one of the central districts of Bursa with the new metropolitan law.
