Şahinbey
Şahinbey is a district of Gaziantep province. According to 2022 population data, it is the first district of Gaziantep and the third largest district in Turkey.
The district took this name in memory of Şahin Bey, who showed outstanding merits in the defense of Antep. Şahinbey, which was a neighborhood of Gaziantep, became a district after Gaziantep became a metropolitan city in 1987.
