Seben
Seben is a district located 56 km south of Bolu province. It is famous for its apples. According to a rumor, the district took its name from Seben Mountain located in the north. It is thought that the Semen flower growing in the forest gave its name to the district. The district has a total of 29 villages, 2 of which are located in mountains, 1 in a lake, 4 in forests, and 23 in valleys and plains. It is surrounded by plateaus with an average altitude of 1400 m, centered around Kiraz Mountain. The most important of these plateaus are Gerenözü and Kızık plateaus. The houses of Kızık Plateau attract attention with their different architecture. These houses were built from pine trees, without using any nails, by interlocking and interlocking. These houses have different features with their high stairs, large stoves and unique furniture. Bağlum Thermal Springs, located in Kesenözü Village, 14 km south of Seben District, is known to have positive effects on stomach, gallbladder, respiratory and circulatory disorders.
