Şemdinli
Şemdinli is one of the 5 districts of Hakkâri province and the center of this district.
Separated from Yüksekova by the Haruna Pass at an altitude of 2,110 meters, the district consists of an area irrigated by the Pesan Stream, a tributary of the Zap Stream, and the Şemdinli Stream and its tributaries. Bordering Iran and northern Iraq, the district is remarkable for its natural beauties and historical buildings.
