Süleymanpaşa
Süleymanpaşa is a district of Tekirdağ province in Turkey. On November 12, 2012, it became a district as a result of the abolition of the central district of Tekirdağ with the Law No. 6360 adopted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly. It was named after Suleyman Pasha, the first commander of the Ottoman Army that fought in Thrace in the XIVth century.
